The Kinston Housing Authority (KHA) provides quality, affordable housing to the City of Kinston and Lenoir County North Carolina residents. KHA administers Public Housing and Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers (HCV) programs funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

KHA serves families, seniors, and disabled residents by managing 641 Public Housing Units, 298 Elderly/Disabled Housing Units, 6 open market units, and administers 883 Housing Choice Vouchers.

KHA recognizes residents as its ultimate customer and provides excellent customer service through partnerships with residents, community, and government leaders and by applying agency resources to the effective and efficient management and operations of its programs.
