Sealed proposals will be received by the KINSTON HOUSING AUTHORITY for the CAPITAL FUND PROJECT NC 004-50123 and NC 004-50124 until 3:00 PM, THURSDAY, JANUARY 16, 2025, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, material and equipment entering into the Electrical Improvements Project at Simon Bright NC 004-1. Scope of work will consist of, but is not limited to, the following items:
A Pre-Bid Conference has been scheduled for THURSDAY, JANUARY 2, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Meeting will be held at 301 East Bright Street, Kinston, NC 28501. A Site Visit will follow. (Please note: The Training Room is NOT in the same location as the Main Housing Authority Office).

All contractors are hereby notified that they must have proper license under the State laws governing their respective trades, whether or not Federal Funding is involved.
Contractors will be responsible to ensure that economic opportunities, to the greatest extent feasible follow Section 3 Requirements 24 CFR Part 135.1 and Section 3 Clause 24 CFR Part 135.38.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
